Chicken or the Egg

Errol Morris' study of two Roger Fenton photographs from the Crimea is pretty interesting, if lengthy. One photograph was taken as he found the scene. In the other, he moved some of the canonballs around. But which is which? It's in three parts and the conclusion came out today. The link is to Part 1.
