So, I guess it's been a less than inspiring couple weeks on the web. We've topped 90 here already, and I need a few days off from work. Anyway, I have managed to be inspired by a few things lately. I had been planning on doing a post on the packaging of men's grooming products. In the beginning, people just took the women's version and made it blue. But now there's as much creativity and attention paid as anything else. However, wood grain is not the only masculine design element around, people. But then I discovered the Dieline, a packaging design blog where I drool over every post and feel like a hack. Also on a packaging note, vintage Japanese pillbox designs over at PingMag.

Let's not forget the other favorite "men's colors": Silver, Black, Red and Orange.
Seems like the only place men get the full complement of the color palette is in the shirt & tie realm. Maybe because the suit is such a masculine thing itself?
