Went to a Mexican themed birthday party over the weekend. Shown above is the tequila lime quail with mole sauce. Yes, it's also wrapped in bacon, which never hurts. Also, there was simple, fresh guacamole; chorizo beans; and rice. And my personal favorite of the evening – slow cooked pork tacos served just with a little onion, fresh lime juice, and cilantro. Then there were the cupcakes. And the Hello Kitty pinata.
