I got to attend the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Chicago last week, and here are some of my favorite things. 1. The display on the Turbochef ovens. It's easy to figure out and very Apple-ish looking. 2. Urinals at Kohler 3. Tile at Ann Sacks. There was a trend overall toward Arts & Crafts inspired designs. Muted, natural colors and high relief. 4. End-grain wood flooring also at Ann Sacks. 5. Totally Bamboo, who makes cutting boards, now is making countertops. Again, end-grain is a mini-trend. 6. A "germ" "protesting" at one of the toilet companies.
