For only 19.95

NYC is expensive. Maybe not the most expensive place around, but it's certainly up there. Everytime I head to the ATM and get out 100 bucks it spits 20 dollar bills out. And those bills don' t last long. FYI, it's hard to find an ATM that gives out 10 dollar bills.

So now when I find something that offers an annual membership for 20 bucks or less I look very closely at it. At least I'll sort of remember where that money went… unlike the 60 bucks I withdrew Monday.

One of these services is ThinkMap's Visual Thesaurus. It's wonderful, aside from the sheer usefulness of it (it's a one stop research center not just a place to find another word for cat), the Visual Thesaurus has a great interface, random word generator and a terrific forum.
